Episode 73: #OnTheStacks in the blu door studio with United States Air Force First Lieutenant, Devon Redding.
Stationed at the Minot Air Force Base in North Dakota, Devon takes me through his day-to-day of being on “alert” 60 feet below ground, in a highly secured and isolated capsule suspended within the earth’s crust so it can survive a near-miss blast.
Devon and his squadron are responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and controlling 50 active Nuclear Warheads, and if called upon, launching those missiles to defend and support the United States and allied forces.
Devon also talks about the mindset, heritage, and traditions of the military.
