Episode 81: #OnTheStacks in the blu door studio with Matt & Ryan Mayers, filmmakers and co-owners at Mayers Films. After hearing about the closure and merger of the three Wilkes-Barre Area schools, these two brothers and Meyers graduates, set out to create a documentary film titled “Hustle and Harmony” to capture and preserve the emotional stories, traditions, and culture about the 87-year old rivalry between Meyers and G.A.R. that many know and also recognize as one of the greatest football rivalries in Northeastern Pennsylvania. Matt and Ryan also share stories about the bonds built between teammates and the life lessons they learned from football that they still carry with them today.
