Be consistent instead of perfect with whatever it is you’re trying to achieve! Consistency is the key to achieving your goals, both big and small.

Perfectionism is a trait that many entrepreneurs, (especially high performers) possess and struggle with, including myself sometimes. We often strive for perfection in our work and projects, but the best course of action is to always prioritize consistency over perfection.

Here’s a look at why being consistent instead of perfect can help you succeed as an entrepreneur.

The Pursuit of Perfection Can Lead to Procrastination

Perfectionism can lead to procrastination for many entrepreneurs because they are so focused on making sure everything is perfect that they don’t take any action. This is especially true when it comes to launching new products or services, or starting any other type of project. When entrepreneurs become paralyzed by the desire to make something perfect, they never end up taking the necessary steps towards completion.

Consistency Creates Quality Results

When entrepreneurs focus on being consistent instead of striving for perfection, they will be able to produce quality results in a much shorter amount of time. This is because consistency allows them to stay focused on the task at hand and take small steps towards completion rather than trying to do it all at once with a “perfect” outcome in mind. By being consistent, you will be able to get more done in less time and still achieve satisfactory results. Consistency is what separates the good from the great!

Taking Action Is Key

Being consistent means taking action and not letting perfectionism stand in your way. Entrepreneurs should have an idea of what their desired outcome looks like but should also be willing to recognize when it’s time to move on from a project and begin working on something else. Consistent action leads to progress and encourages entrepreneurs to keep moving forward even if things aren’t perfect every step of the way.

Consistency > Perfectionism

It’s important for entrepreneurs to remember that there’s no such thing as “perfect”— it’s all about action, progress, improvement, and consistency over time.

Focusing too much on perfectionism can lead to procrastination and missed deadlines, while focusing on consistency can help you get more done in less time and have better results overall. Be willing to take action even if things aren’t perfect every step of the way; that’s how you’ll achieve success!
