Welcome to the new and improved #OnTheStacks website and blog!

We’ve been working tirelessly on this new site and we’re really excited that you’re here.

If you’re looking to build a bangin’ site like this one, get in touch with Halibut Blue. Mike McLaughlin, partner at Halibut Blue, worked closely with me on every detail of this website to make sure I was completely satisfied.

Mike is no stranger to #OnTheStacks though. In early April of 2020, Mike and his business partner, Chris Kuhar, were featured on Episode 6 of the Podcast.

When #OnTheStacks first launched in 2019, it was a one man band — me, Bill, I was the band. It started with posting one or two photos (using my cell phone camera) on social media, with friends and colleagues who visited the stacks.

In just over one year, #OnTheStacks has exploded into a podcast, social media partner, and hub for regional influence.

On the podcast, we chat with professionals both locally in NEPA, and some from around the country, to share the story behind their awesome businesses, side hustles, and life experiences. I also don’t mind the products and swag they bring, because sometimes I get to keep them!

As the #OnTheStacks team has grown, you’ve been able to see what really goes on behind the scenes. Darren Elias is the man responsible for the #OnTheStacks glow up.

Darren goes above and beyond, making sure I’m always looking my best in every photo, since we all know I don’t normally look that good in person. All of the amazing photos you see on this new site were also shot by Darren.

I also need to give a shout out to the “Mic Man,” Mike Gombita. Before the launch of the podcast, he randomly DM’d me on Instagram and offered to assist with the audio editing and publishing of the podcast.

Mike works full time at Misericordia University, and did this on the side to help me get started. As of recently, the Mic Man has moved on, but I’m very appreciative for his work and the guidance he has given me.

There’s an endless list of family, friends, and colleagues who have unexpectedly jumped in and rolled up their sleeves to help make my vision of #OnTheStacks what it is today. I’m super grateful for their time and skills, and cannot thank them enough.
