Ep.180. We took the blu door studio on a road trip to Nashville, TN! In today’s OnTheStacks episode, I sat down with Warren Steury, a Master Mason of the West Nashville Phoenix Freemasons’ Lodge #131.
We take a deep dive into the myths and mysteries of Freemasonry, a fraternity often viewed through a distorted lens, despite its noble legacy dating back to the era of the Founding Fathers.
At 16 years old, he got caught up as a troubled youth, and subsequently, his parents enrolled him in a wilderness rehabilitation program, where he spent 83 days hiking and living off the land of the Blue Ridge Mountains in North Carolina with a small group of other juveniles and camp counselors, where he gained valuable life lessons.
Finally, we turned our spotlight on personal growth – the importance of having a code to live by. We talk about the role of daily reading and writing for personal development, and how these simple habits can bring clarity to one’s thoughts. We also talk about the evolution of content length, attention spans in the digital age, and how reading and writing remain our distinguishing traits as humans.

Breaking The Silence on Veteran PTSD & Mental Health | Ep.162 “Walk With Frank” Q&Ahttps://onthestacks.com/wp-content/themes/OnTheStacks/images/empty/thumbnail.jpg150150OnTheStacksOnTheStackshttps://onthestacks.com/wp-content/themes/OnTheStacks/images/empty/thumbnail.jpg
This week’s OnTheStacks episode is a previously live Q&A that Bill moderated at the F.M. Kirby Center following the showing of the Documentary film, “Walk With Frank.” The Q&A features film subject & Vietnam War Veteran, Frank Romeo, and filmmakers & co-owners of Mayers Films, Matt & Ryan Mayers.
At 70 years old, Frank walked across the entire state of New York to raise awareness for PTSD & mental health. This is his story.
Walk With Frank is a film about self discovery, mental health, and one man’s journey towards understanding and embracing his own PTSD. In the Q&A we discuss the Impact the film has had on Frank’s life, the ongoing struggles veterans face, and ways we can keep the conversation going to end the stigma of mental health and to inspire others to open up about their own mental illness.
Warning: this episode contains some pretty heavy subject matter including PTSD and suicide, so listener & viewer discretion is advised.

This week’s OnTheStacks guest in the blu door studio is Gus The Savage, an award-winning multi-genre artist. *WARNING: We talk about some heavy subject matters including gang life and thoughts of suicide. It was hard for Gus growing up in the projects of the Bronx and losing his mother at 16. At a very young age he was surrounded by gang activity, and to him, it just seemed like that’s how life was supposed to be. But when his mother passed, it changed his life forever. At that moment he knew if he stayed on the streets, there were only two paths ahead of him – Death or Jail, so he had to make a choice…

This week’s guest in the blu door studio is Louie Helmecki, Owner of Elevation Wellness. After 20 years of working in corporate America, Louie left his Med Device sales career to focus on building a business of his own and set out on a mission – one that would empower others to take charge of their health and well-being. Louie has always been passionate about health and wellness, but more so after battling cancer 3 times.
Biohacking is all the rage these days. But what does it mean? In this episode, Louie breaks down what biohacking is and how you can use it to optimize your health, increase performance, and decrease your biological age.
We explore the benefits and science behind Peptide Therapy, IV Vitamin Therapy, and NAD+ Therapy, all of which have shown to improve cognitive function, boost your immune system, increase athletic performance, reduce stress and inflammation, and slow down the aging process. NAD+ also helps regenerate cells, protect the brain against cellular damage, and combats a variety of conditions including depression, anxiety, PTSD, TBI’s, neurological diseases, and addiction.
